Chief Technology Officer
John serves GHI Internet Services as the Chief Technology Officer by providing direction & oversight to our product development, infrastructure, consulting services, implementation, & technical teams.
Being a Medina, Ohio native and longtime friend to founder Frank Griffith, John was GHI Internet Services first intern in the Development Department assisting in the production and coding of websites back in 1999 when the company was founded.
He then graduated from the University of Akron in 2001 with dual majors in Management Information Systems and Production Operations while also anchoring down the defensive line on Saturday afternoons on full athletic scholarship. Needless to say, John has been a leader since birth.
After college, he began his career with Accenture, a global management consulting and technology Services Company, working in the Chemicals market servicing a wide range of companies including: DuPont, PolyOne, Exxon, BASF, Great Lakes Chemical, Johnson & Johnson, and LTV Steel. He then joined Moreland Partners, a Cleveland based IT/Business consultancy servicing local companies including LESCO, Able Fence & Guard Rail, Heil Trucking, and Truck Bodies Equipment Incorporated. John then spent his final years before starting up his own firm working with webMethods/Software AG as the Global Director of Business Development managing relationships with Accenture, Deloitte, and Bearing Point.
Today, John leads Alaritas, a Cloud Technology Consultancy providing regional businesses access to the same industry best practices & technology solutions the Fortune 100 have been thriving on for years.
