Senior Communications Consultant

We are currently looking for full-time senior communications consultant to be a sales leader growing and building partnerships and customer relationships with companies throughout Northeast Ohio and across the USA. GHI is looking for an aggressive, sales driven, assertive, high energy and independent professional to develop these new business relationships.

As a senior communications consultant you must have ten years prior working experience in the field of either telecommunications and/or internet design, marketing, and internet marketing. The ability to work in a virtual team environment and outside of the normal 8-5 workday is required.

Responsibilites:

As a senior communications consultant you will play a key role on GHI’s Business Development Team and will develop a thorough understanding of GHI’s Service Offerings.

Specific business development responsibilities include:

  • Participate in the creation of marketing programs to reflect service offerings.
  • Identify list of C level management to contact (CIO, CTO, CFO, CEO, COO).
  • Uncover prospect needs through conversations – develop strategic approaches to respond to specific needs.
  • Build detailed account profiles for all targeted accounts, including the specific value proposition.
  • Use GHI criteria to qualify and develop new business opportunities.
  • Work closely with the GHI Executive Management to ensure that qualified prospects move quickly and successfully through the sales process through proactively setting up conference calls, preparing agendas & questions, arranging meetings and driving the qualification process to enhance and speed the closing of the sale.
  • Provide the appropriate information to the prospect; such as case studies and resources for meetings.
  • Ensure consistent internal and external communication around prospect opportunities and smooth transitions from prospect to client. Prospect should always know who "owns" their account – and GHI staff should also know who owns the client at various stages throughout the cycle.
  • Help create brand equity for GHI by handling every prospect interaction professionally and by providing prospects with a unique and compelling "user experience."
  • Collect and track all New Business activity in designated Sales Automation software.
  • Present qualified leads at weekly prospect meetings with GHI Executive Management.
