MEDINA, OHIO - November 2005 - On October 27, 2005, Frank Griffith, Chairman & Founder of Griffith Holdings, Inc. (GHI), won the "2005 Small Business of the Year Award" at the Second Annual Medina County Business Awards, an annual event sponsored by Westfield Bank and the Medina County Economic Development Corporation.
The primary focus of the Business Awards is to recognize and honor businesses located in the fastest growing county in Ohio, Medina County, for their significant achievements in innovation, job creation, and growth. The Medina business community, fellow peers to Mr. Griffith, nominated GHI. The Medina County Business Award Selection Committee, chaired by Brian Tucker, the editor of Crain's Cleveland, the largest business publication in Northeast Ohio, reviewed the candidate pool and selected Griffith Holdings, Inc. as the recipient of the "2005 Small Business of the Year Award".
