Marketing Intern – ASP Products

Type: Intern / Extern.

Location: Medina, Ohio; Northeastern Ohio; and / or virtual.

Wage: Competitive.

Openings: 6

Hours: 10 to 40 hours, flexible.

We are looking for someone to work 10+ hours per week throughout the school year, with potential to extend into full time work during the summer months. Successful candidates should be juniors or seniors in a 4-year college program having already completed relevant course work and/or mature, aggressive, initiative-oriented home schooled high school juniors and seniors. HTML knowledge is a plus, but not required. A GPA of 3.0 or higher is desired. Required Skills:

  • Coursework in English composition, journalism, marketing and/or business management preferred.
  • Knowledge of sales concepts beneficial but not required.
  • Strong and effective communication verbal and written skills necessary.
  • Be prepared to do a variety of tasks within multiple disciplines and assignments – sales, administration, technical – and be willing to fail; we will test your comfort zone.
  • Be functional in Excel, Power Point, Outlook, and Word.

Job Description:

This position will provide an opportunity to obtain a ground level understanding of how to help companies sell, market, and position their products, services, and brand utilizing traditional marketing techniques and the Internet.

  • Research marketing information to build vertical market databases to enable Griffith Holdings Internet Services to proactively build different product markets for several hosted ASP Software Products.
  • Learn how to demo each product.
  • Conduct internet marketing research developing key marketing reports for client projects.
  • Conduct email and direct marketing campaigns to generate leads by market and manage sales cycles to fruition.
  • Manage internal corporate website' sitemap and Organic Search Engine Marketing Campaigns.
